The That’s Clear! project aims to promote inclusive communication to break down barriers faced by marginalised young people. By training youth workers in the use of plain language, the project seeks to improve access to services, increase young people’s participation, and enhance equal opportunities for all, in line with European priorities on inclusion and diversity.

The project will set up co-diagnosis workshops with young people and youth workers, as well as plain-language training delivered both face-to-face and online.
In the short term, That’s Clear! will improve understanding and access to services for marginalised young people through plain language resources. For youth workers, the training will strengthen their skills in inclusive communication. In the long term, the project will promote greater recognition of the role of youth workers in Europe, make services more accessible and inclusive for future generations, and contribute to young people’s civic engagement and autonomy.

The project addresses EU priorities on inclusion and diversity by focusing on plain language as a sustainable solution for accessible communication. It engages marginalised youth in co-diagnostic workshops to ensure tools respond to their real needs, encouraging participation and empowerment.

That’s Clear! also contributes to the quality and recognition of youth work by offering sustainable, transferable skills in communication tailored to marginalised groups. Training modules will be adapted into interactive digital formats, ensuring flexibility and broad access.

Finally, the project integrates digital transformation by creating interactive resources and a digital toolkit with software for text clarity, image generation, and accessibility evaluation. This toolkit will support youth workers in producing high-quality, inclusive communication across the youth sector.
